The Madrona, Healdsburg

From welcome in the orange garden bursting with citrus, to two ethereal ceremonies with layers of poplar and fluttering agrostemma, and serpentine dinner tables on the lawn, we worked closely with Ashley Smith at the newly opened Madrona Manor in Healdsburg.  With both a western and an Indian ceremony on their wedding day, Pallavi and Michael infused the day with modern touches that we played with  in  the florals, such as the juxtaposition of textural blooms with green almonds on the branch, and a dusty neutral palette that went beyond white and green. Moments of wonder, such as scented gardenias floating in the fountain, were created as guests walked the grounds, with surprises awaiting every turn.
